Hello! I'm new to the site and curiuos how it works for competitions. If any one could tell me, that would be great!

Hello, Shadow_penguin990, and welcome to TSC!

Reading the FAQ would help you with the basics of competition here. Basically, you submit times/scores/ring counts/whatever for any game we currently hold competitions for (no cheating, btw! We don't tolerate that here). After a time, your submissions are added unto the database and compared with other submissions for that division (e.g., Sonic 1/Times/Green Hill 1 or Sonic 3/Rings/Angel Island 1/Tails). For every rank away from 1st that you are, you are given a point. If you have no submission for a particular division, you are given a number of points equal to the current number of submissions for that division. Thus, if you have 1st in every division in a game, you will have 0p (which is what the best strive for, though it is rarely accomplished).

...eh, I think I made that sound complicated. Maybe you should just read the FAQ and make another post if you still have questions... >_>

Hay guiz, I made a table showing how many points each game tracked by TSC is worth. You should go see it.
Also v2.0 of my TSC calculator is available to use. You should totally use it.
I update these every Monday around 2:30pm GMT.

SprintGod has had 0p on Sonic 1 (GG) and Sonic 2 (GG) for a long time, but not anymore.

I seem to recall more 0 point championships than just Sprint's. The likely incomplete list, not in chronological order, is:

Nintendan-Sonic Advance
Nintendan-Sonic Advance 2
Sprint-Sonic Drift
Sprint-Sonic Drift 2
mike89-Sonic Chaos
Sprint-Sonic 1 (GG)
Sprint-Sonic 2 (GG)
Sonicam-Sonic Triple Trouble
Rolken-Sonic Pocket Adventure

I'm not sure if some of these were 100% championships, but it's close enough.

Also SMACK ME IN THE FACE WITH A TIRE IRON X)

Sonic Advance was the only game that I've ever had 100% for, and I plan on getting that back very soon

Sonic Advance 2 is a different story, though I do recall getting close (had most of the level records at one point, though I sucked (and continue sucking) balls at bosses

...

And I had 100% on Drift for a while once upon a time
